Jakeisms

Many of you are already familiar with Jakeisms. As part of our efforts to get Jake to communicate, he must verbally request things that he wants…and food is what he requests most often. When he doesn’t know what to call something, he comes up with a descriptive name for it. Like “white broccoli” for cauliflower.

Last week he wanted one of the cream horns that Joe picked up on a quick trip to the grocery store for couple of items. Jake pointed at the package and said, “I want…creamy bread!”
